Five (of 10) Questions That Can Help You Identify Your Personal Brand

The ETA™ brand development process leverages these to help you discover your unique personal brand.

If you were asked to introduce yourself to a group of people today, what would you say? Would you have to pause and think before you answered?

If the same group got together tomorrow and did another round of introductions, would you say the same thing you said on the first day?

In other words, do you know your own unique why and how to express it with conviction? Are you controlling the narrative about yourself?

Revealing Genius uses the proven ETA™ process to help people discover their unique passion and purpose. Step two of the process—“tell”—leverages 10 questions to help people identify their personal brand and how they are uniquely meant to serve.

The process doesn’t require answering all 10 questions—but typically there is one that gets people inspired about themselves and what they most want to do in the world. Try out these five and see how it works.

  1. If you had one minute to offer three to five bullet points that summarize your core strengths, what would you say?
  2. What are one to three of your proudest accomplishments and why?
  3. What’s the big relevant change in the world that you are passionate about?
  4. What’s your favorite quote or mantra that you live by?
  5. What’s your extraordinary why?

Congratulations! You’ve taken a first step toward excavating your brand and are on your way to being able to articulate how you can best live out your unique why. If you enjoyed this exercise, consider registering for the next complimentary webinar called Excavate Your Brand Genius.
