The neuroscience of leading with emotional power

Harvard Business Review just released this book, written by a neuropsychologist, who explains that success in life – at work and at home – rises when we harness the energy that powers our brains. Her lab and clinical work substantiates that our drive to create change, catalyze impact and build relationships all come from neuroelectrical energy: when this energy rises within us, we feel empowered and dynamic. But when this energy falls, we feel down, stressed and defeated. For those of us who feel like we don’t control our emotional energy, that it’s an inevitable consequence of the world around us and the forces bearing down, it’s not the case.

The Hope

“To reach our full potential, we can learn to harness the energy in our brains,” says Dr. DiGangi.
