Marine is a global talent expert who helps CEOs, owners and founders get clarity on where they want to go, who they need on their teams to get there, and how they can ensure they are set up for success in achieving their goals from a people and process perspective.
She is also an expert at reinvention. She has reinvented herself several times over the course of her career—and even chose, unapologetically, to take some breaks.
The bulk of Marine’s experience is in services where human capital is the “product.”
She opened new markets for a publicly listed company. She designed winning teams at an independent digital agency, leveraging the power of digital nomads and remote teams before Zoom was a way of life. She has worked for start-ups, owner/founder-operated small and medium-sized enterprises, and publicly traded firms in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Most recently Marine interviewed 600 candidates and selected more than 50 CEOs through acquisition in Europe and North America as part of an innovative private equity firm based on search funds. Targeting succession issues in SMEs, she’s focused her practice in the last three years on which skill set, leadership qualities, and personal drivers and derailers make a great new generation of owners and leaders across a wide range of industries, sectors and geographies. Thank you to Kristen McAlister for facilitating a fascinating interview with Marine on human capital trends for SMEs on a recent installment of Cerius Leadership.Marine lives in Zurich, Switzerland, has several passports and speaks French, German and English. I met her through her board work for the nonprofit Bluemind Foundation, which raises funds to help destigmatize mental health in Africa. Please note: There are 10 psychiatrists in Togo for a population of 8 million and not 8 psychiatrists for 1 million as stated in this interview.Transcript of the interview
